Meet our Providers
Julie Bredt
MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Julie is originally from Lima, Peru, and is fluent in Spanish. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Julie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and worked as a Crisis Counselor in a psychiatric unit for children. She later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and spent many years working on step-down cardiac critical care, neurology and medical/surgical units at a children’s hospital in Florida. Julie also spent several years working on an adult telemetry and respiratory unit.
After a couple of medical missionary trips to Haiti as a Registered Nurse, Julie realized that becoming a Nurse Practitioner would allow her to provide even more expertise and assistance during her medical missions. As a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Julie has worked in both pediatric urban and rural primary care settings, bringing compassion and excellent holistic pediatric care to some of our most vulnerable children. She hopes to be able to continue to help vulnerable pediatric populations for many years to come!
Julie and her family have lived in Florida for many years and are grateful to be part of such a great community. In her free time, Julie loves to spend time with her husband of almost 20 years, their three boys and two dogs. She also loves to go to the beach, read, craft and travel.

“One of the most important gifts you can give your child is self-worth and security. Build them up, encourage them, tell them you love them, cheer for them and always try to be there to support them to the best of your ability. Strong confident children can change the world!”
~ Ms. Julie
